The weather today — at least in New York City — was one of the first signs of Spring, with temperatures finally reaching just under 70 degrees. And it’s safe to say that everyone, including Jordan Brand, is gearing up for the season. Soon, the Jumpman will release a completely new version of the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Tie-Dye,” this time with more subdued color blocking than the original.
The majority of the colorway, which looks a lot like the Air Jordan 4 “Zen Master,” is really devoid of bright colors. The overlays (including the Swoosh) are black, and the leathers are smooth throughout the profile. Underneath the midsole is a white base made of the same material that matches the midsole but not the tread or the dark tone of the laces and tongue. The heel and Jumpman branding are especially dissimilar, with the latter in a solid pink finish and the former in a pastel-dominated tie-dye.
Check out the official photographs below for a closer look at this impending Air Jordan 1 Mid. The pair’s Nike.com release date is currently unknown, but we should learn more about it in the coming months.
