On April 15, 1947, Jackie Robinson made history by becoming the first black player to start at first base for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Nike will develop a special edition Dunk Low to commemorate the 75th Anniversary.\

This Nike Dunk Low boasts particular elements like his number #42 on the heels and a phrase that reads, “I’m not worried with your loving or disliking me.” On the insoles, it says, “All I ask is that you respect me as a human being.” Special 75th Anniversary emblem on the tongues, baseball embroidered laces atop a White midsole, and a Black rubber sole are among the other highlights.
The Nike Dunk Low “Jackie Robinson” will be available at select shops and on Nike.com in April 2022.
