Since the beginning of 2022, the being formerly known as “Kanye West” has been “charged up,” for better or worse.
The new Netflix documentary “jeen-yuhs” has introduced another adidas Yeezy offering ahead of NBA All-Star Weekend in Cleveland: a vibrant, “Energy Glow”-colored YZY BSKTBL KNIT. The newly-released Yeezy Quantum features a multi-patterned Primeknit upper, similar to the original Yeezy Quantum that debuted during the basketball event’s visit to Chicago in February 2020. Grey and beige are almost entirely replaced with an explosive shade of yellow evocative of the Yeezys of the past, such as “Phosphor” or “Frozen Yellow.” The redesigned silhouette’s sock-like collar and revamped structure provide a considerably more snug fit than previous models, which the Yeezy 350 v2 CMPCT has also delivered. The sole units remain in their regular performance-oriented configuration, with 3M reflective detailing covering much of the lower heel of the sneaker.
